You'll be responsible for: 10 warehouse staff 2 drivers The flow of stock in and out Couriers Costs Standards Efficiency It's hands-on. If something isn't working, you fix it. If a process is clunky, you improve it. If money is being wasted, you stop it. But this isn't about cutting for the sake of cutting. It's about knowing the difference between: ? Bad costs ?Good investment If a £10k system saves £50k over two years, you back it. If someone wants to spend money for the sake of it, you challenge it. You'll need to be: Comfortable leading from the floor, not just the office Commercially aware Strong on warehouse and logistics control Calm but firm with standards Confident managing drivers and third-party couriers Solid on Health & Safety (IOSH / NEBOSH level understanding)
