Role Description
Calling all aspiring engineers! We have an apprenticeship opportunity that allows you to earn while you learn. With Allianz, you'll get hands-on training from experienced professionals to become a qualified Engineer Surveyor. You will inspect a variety of equipment including lifts, cranes, construction machinery and more, in a fast-paced field environment. The apprenticeship includes on-site training and classroom learning at Fareham College. Upon completion, you will join Allianz full-time with the skills to excel.
As a home-based Engineer Surveyor, you will plan and deliver for clients once trained, examine equipment, provide customer service, and make independent decisions.

Salary Information
Pay: Starting salary £36,314 per year.
About You
* Passionate about engineering, self-driven with the ability to interact with a variety of clients daily
* Committed to learning through on-the-job activities and academic studies that can be in-person, online or self-led
* Keen on self-development and building a successful career with Allianz
* Good time management skills to independently organise your week
* Good computer literacy; comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of your working day
* Strong customer interaction skills, including good oral and written communication
On Successful Completion
* Awarded a Level 4 Apprenticeship as an Engineer Surveyor
* Competency rating against SAFed SS01 as a Category 2 Engineer Surveyor
* Obtain professional registration at EngTech level and become a Member of the Society of Operational Engineers (MSOE)
* Join Allianz Engineering Inspection Services as a full-time permanent employee
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 3 years relevant engineering experience, including knowledge of plant and systems or services in Lift & Crane
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in an engineering-related subject (e.g., Technical Certificate minimum T3 level, NVQ level 3, or equivalent)
* A valid full UK driver's licence
Desirable Skills
* Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE 4/C) required to complete the apprenticeship; these can be obtained during the apprenticeship
