About the Role
We’re looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our team in Dartford. You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative functions across our operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and in line with company procedures.
This role involves working closely with colleagues, clients, and service users to deliver accurate, timely and professional support. You’ll be responsible for handling communications, managing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring customer experience remains central to everything we do.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Supporting administrative tasks across local operations and internal departments
2. Recording and responding to client and service user communications
3. Managing materials requisitions, purchase orders, and invoicing processes
4. Inputting cost data to enable timely completion and billing of work orders
5. Communicating with service users regarding ongoing works
6. Liaising with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information is shared
7. Maintaining company assets in line with policy and reporting any damages
8. Attending meetings and training sessions as required
9. Upholding high standards of professionalism, health & safety, and customer care
Role Criteria
10. Experience in a commercial environment, ideally within the social housing sector
11. Proven ability to manage administrative processes accurately and efficiently
12. Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy office setting
13. Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills
14. Confident using computerised systems and Microsoft Office applications
15. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
16. Strong customer service ethos with a professional approach to all interactions
17. Ability to liaise effectively with service users, colleagues, and external stakeholders
18. Willingness to attend meetings and training sessions as required
19. Commitment to maintaining high standards of health & safety and company procedures
