Your Role as a Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and keep students focused and engaged. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups. Encourage participation, learning, and positive attitudes in the classroom. Maintain a calm, safe, and productive school environment. What You’ll Need as a Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable). Strong communication, confidence, and leadership skills. A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to classroom management. Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
