We are seeking a motivated Field Service Representative capable of working independently to ensure high-quality customer service. The role aims to maximize customer commitment and business prosperity by delivering timely results. This position provides daily support for RMMV-UK repair activities.
Position Responsibilities:
* Handle all customer support tasks at external facilities
* Efficiently complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities
* Ensure work progresses according to schedule
* Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues
* Generate regular and detailed service reports
* Operate vehicles safely and utilize field automation systems
* Follow company rules and safety regulations
* Collaborate with colleagues and share important information
* Identify customer needs and provide advice or recommendations
* Build and maintain trustful customer relationships
* Manage and maintain technical equipment
* Adapt to changing schedules and shifts
* Use mobile tools and applications effectively
* Ensure adherence to company procedures and safety guidelines
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures
* Diagnose and troubleshoot service issues
* Engage with customers for warranty/service calls and upgrade programs
* Prepare and maintain service documentation

Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a heavy goods vehicle technician and Field Service Representative
* Knowledge of computer diagnostics and electronic control systems
* Experience with UK MoD MAN vehicle fleet
* Ability to conduct risk assessments
* Technical degree or certification
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
* Valid driving license (C+E) for UK travel
