You'll be responsible for producing accurate, commercially sound quotations for projects across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, public sector, education, industrial, retail, and leisure - with project values reaching up to £20 million. This is a permanent, full-time role offering strong long-term career progression, a varied workload, and the chance to work within a supportive, established team. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for pre-designed and design & build projects up to £20m Collaborate with the bid management team to deliver timely, accurate tenders Provide alternative installation proposals to create commercial advantages Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and input data into the Extreme Estimating System Identify commercial risks and provide financial insight Attend pre-tender, mid-tender, post-tender and client/site meetings Secure contracts and carry out thorough project handovers to project managers Manage your workload effectively to meet tight deadlines Liaise directly with clients, responding to all quotation queries Criteria / What We're Looking For Relevant electrical qualifications & strong experience in electrical estimating Proven ability to price electrical works accurately and competitively Excellent client-facing skills - confident dealing with consultants and stakeholders Strong IT skills across estimating software, Excel, Word, and MS Project Solid knowledge of materials, construction methods & electrical installation techniques Sharp commercial awareness and strong time-management Benefits £50,000 - £55,000 salary (DOE) Car allowance & insurance 35 days annual leave (including bank hols) Enhanced pension Contractual sick pay Enhanced maternity/paternity (after qualifying period) Cycle to Work scheme On-site gym CPD training & genuine career progression opportunities Varied work across multiple sectors How to Apply If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a long-term role with high-value projects, excellent benefits, and real development opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
