Salary: £24,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience working in large-scale network engineering, focusing on core or backbone networks Strong hands-on experience with Juniper JunOS Experience with BGP in large-scale or service provider environments Deep understanding of IP routing, MPLS, and traffic engineering Excellent communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain core IP/MPLS network infrastructure using Juniper platforms Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Juniper routers (e.g., MX, ACX series) Manage and support routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS Manage and support CGNAT and BNG platforms Ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance across the core network Perform network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning Troubleshoot complex network issues across layers 2–3 in production environments Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and diagrams Collaborate with NOC and systems teams on cross-functional initiatives Technologies: Backbone Support MPLS Network More: We are Quickline, on a mission to provide lightning fast, reliable broadband that reaches places other providers leave behind.
