Job Description:
If you are looking for a rewarding new role within healthcare, you are in the right place!
Working in healthcare can be incredibly fulfilling as it allows you to make a positive impact on people's lives every day.
We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
We believe in creating a warm and inclusive environment where our young service user can thrive, and we're seeking a care team who shares our vision. If you're passionate about making a positive difference in the life of a child and have experience or a willingness to learn about complex care needs, we want to hear from you! as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Benefits of this role include
* Competitive Pay Rates
* Full Clinical Training
Meet our service user
Our service user is a young girl who lives with her family and their 2 dogs in Skelmersdale.
We’re looking for an interactive and engaging Healthcare Assistant to join her team, providing care throughout the day and night on a 1:1 basis.
During term time she requires a Healthcare Assistant who is skilled in complex clinical care to accompany her within her educational setting. You will provide full support with her physical and clinical needs during school hours.
In addition, you will support her in accessing activities she enjoys, such as going out in the community, visiting the park & beach, caravan holidays, hydrotherapy, and spending quality time at home. She also enjoys Disney films, cartoons, and other age-appropriate shows with bright visuals, sounds, and songs.
Overnight, you will offer comfort and reassurance when needed, promote a restful environment, tend to her clinical interventions, and ensure her needs are met promptly.
It is important to note that our service user is registered blind and unable to communicate verbally. While she can understand conversation, to avoid distress or frustration, spend time learning her signals and cues, such as facial expressions and sounds, to understand her needs.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience with the following:
* Medication Administration
* Personal Care
* Moving and Handling
* Pet Friendly
Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, but not essential:
* PEG Feeding & Medication
Our service user has specifically requested female staff to work on her team.
Available shifts include:
* Part Time
* Days: 8am – 4pm or 8am - 7pm
* Nights: 10pm – 8am
Pay rates:
* Weekdays: £13.00/hr (~£143 per 11-hour shift)
* Weeknights: £13.50/hr (~£135 per 10-hour shift)
* Saturday: £14.00/hr (~£154 per 11-hour shift)
* Sunday: £14.50/hr (~£159.50 per 11-hour shift)
* Bank Holiday: £16.00/hr (~£176 per 11-hour shift)
If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and seeking a fulfilling role, we would love to hear from you.
Apply now to join our dedicated team and make a difference in our service user's life.
