About the role
This Real Estate Director role sits within the Real Estate Deals Tax team, the largest specialist real estate transactions tax team in PwCs global network. This is a fast growing team with an energetic fast paced advise on a large volume of direct and indirect real estate transactions both in the UK and across the world. We're committed to driving collaboration and cross-working across specialities to drive innovation and success as we service clients. The team is supported by a wide variety of specialists including stamp tax, VAT, capital allowances, construction industry scheme, tax compliance and finance and treasury specialists. The Real Estate Deals team also collaborates with our Infrastructure and Real Estate Credit teams, across different lines of service and with our overseas firms.
What your days will look like:
1. Leading teams to deliver bespoke, commercially focused tax advice in a fast-paced and evolving international deals market.
2. Responsibility for establishing and maintaining relationships as a trusted advisor; leading client engagements and work across our Deals business to lead multi-disciplinary solutions to clients
3. Take an active role in contributing to the strategic vision of the Real Estate Deals Tax Team - working to capture opportunities for growth and diversification
4. Leading by example in your personal development, coaching your team to advance their learning and fulfil their own potential.
This role is for you if:
5. You have extensive experience, successfully leading teams on Real Estate transactions including due diligence, structuring & tax modelling
6. Strong understanding of indirect and transfer taxes, management taxes and international tax principles
7. You have a substantive, proven track record of building internal and external relationships and networks, both within the UK and overseas
8. You have a proven ability to win client engagements and develop new business relationships with clients.
