The Minster Centre is a small, friendly organisation seeking a Reception Manager who is adaptable, flexible, and enjoys teamwork within a dynamic environment. This varied role involves providing a welcoming, efficient service to students, room hirers, therapy clients, and staff, aligned with the Centre's Ethos.
The successful candidate will have prior administration and front-of-house experience, excellent IT skills, and ideally familiarity with Zoom. They should be organized, able to work calmly under pressure, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage the Reception Team, ensuring coverage through a rota.
2. Welcome visitors and coordinate access to the building, including opening and closing procedures.
3. Respond to emergencies and manage supplies, petty cash, and the reception area.
4. Support events and training sessions, including setup and coordination of catering.
5. Manage room bookings, process invoices, and handle enquiries and customer queries.
6. Collaborate with Facilities to ensure building maintenance and safety, including conducting daily checks and minor repairs.
7. Provide IT support, including troubleshooting and managing Zoom accounts and sessions.
8. Support student enrollment, progression tracking, and organize graduation events.
This role offers 25 hours per week, with some flexibility, a salary of £21,064.54 pro-rata, and benefits including pension, flexible working, and holiday entitlements. Applicants must reside in the UK with the right to work.
