Clinical Nurse Specialist – Clinical Nurse Specialist
King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead post‑transplant follow‑up services for kidney, pancreas and liver/kidney transplant patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive patient‑centred, nurse‑led post‑transplant follow‑up service for patients who have undergone kidney transplants, simultaneous kidney/pancreas transplants and simultaneous liver/kidney transplants.
* Manage day‑to‑day nursing and administrative services in the department, ensuring high quality nursing care in a minimum of three clinics per week.
* Take a leading role in the strategic development and management of services for transplanted patients to meet recognised national standards.
* Ensure appropriate and effective utilisation of human and physical resources.
* Lead, motivate and serve as a role model for staff.
* Lead research, audit and measurement of quality indicators within the specialty.
* Develop multidisciplinary team staff through support, advice, formal and informal education.
