GTS are seeking an experienced Model Maker to join a world-leading Formula 1 team, working at their state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility in Bedford.
The Role
As a Model Maker, you will:
* Build, assemble, and finish high-quality wind tunnel models and precision components.
* Collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, design engineers, and additive manufacturing teams.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in model-making processes.
* Ensure components are produced on time and to exacting Formula 1 standards.
* Work across structured weekend shift patterns as part of a high-performing team.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
* Proven model-making or precision engineering experience (Formula 1 or motorsport background highly desirable).
* Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and fine detail manufacturing.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
* The ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain exceptional quality standards.
* Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts in Bedford, with occasional travel to Milton Keynes.
