Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control and place orders to ensure the bar is well stocked with high quality products.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety and licensing regulations within the bar.
Work collaboratively with the Kitchen team, Events Manager, Sales and Finance team to ensure a seamless experience for our couples.
Assist with financial management of the bar, including revenue tracking and identifying cost-effective measures.
Foster positive relationships with guests to enhance their experience.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging beverage trends to innovate and elevate the bar offerings, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Confidently handle administration tasks to support the bar operations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a bar manager, or similar role in the hospitality sector.
Outstanding customer service and a strong knowledge of beverage trends.
Demonstrated ability to manage stock, inventory and control costs effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of building relationships with both staff and customers.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with strong organisation and time management skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as per the requirements of the venue.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office programmes.
Relevant certification in bartending, mixology or beverage manager are advantageous.
