Basic salary: GBP 40,000 – GBP 45,000

Location
Homebased covering the UK. Ideally located within 1 hour of Nottingham along the M1 corridor.
The Role
* Installation, commissioning, service, and repair of high‑quality packaging machinery across customer sites in the UK.
* Managing your own schedule, typically 2–3 days a week on site, with the remainder working from home or the office.
* Minimal travel – averaging just one overnight stay per week and very occasional weekend work (once or twice a year).
* Joining a close‑knit UK team with full technical support and access to European OEM training.
Qualifications
* A solid track record as a Field Service Engineer or Factory Maintenance Engineer, ideally in capital equipment or packaging machinery.
* A recognised electrical and/or electronic engineering qualification, ideally backed by a full apprenticeship.
* Hands‑on fault‑finding skills with a proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
* The ability to work independently, manage your time, and represent a premium European brand professionally.
* Experience with packaging, printing, or process machinery will be a distinct advantage.
