We have an exciting opportunity for committed and dedicated individuals to join our busy Eye Clinic at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Ophthalmic Outpatients is based on two sites, at the NNUH and in the Central Norwich Eye Clinic, based at Grove Road Clinic in Norwich City Centre.
Our modern hospital is set just outside of the vibrant city of Norwich, in the beautiful count of Norfolk - the land of big skies, stunning beaches and rolling countryside. Our busy and evolving hospital provides care to nearly a million patients each year and our passion for research and development is supported by our close links to the Norwich Research Park and University of East Anglia.

Main duties of the job
Under the direction and supervision of the Nursing team, the successful candidates will participate as integral members of the team to help provide a quality service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* City and Guilds NVQ Level 3/ T levels/ A levels in Care/Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or significant equivalent experience
Experience
* Some previous experience in a nursing/Care Assistant role which can be demonstrated against the requirements of the role.
Skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally in English
* Good numeracy and literacy skills, clear and effective reading and writing in English language
* Effective role model, demonstrating NNUH's PRIDE values of People focussed, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence
* Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
* Able to work well in a team
* Caring and compassionate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
