Part-Time Youth and Community Worker - 18.5 hours/week, Fixed Term until 31st January 2025
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Youth and Community Worker to join our South Families in Focus Team.
The role is 18.5 hours per week and is a JNC post (grades 23-26).
The responsibilities include working with various youth and Play organisations across South to develop our Youth and Play offer for children and young people aged 8-19 years.
It also involves some one-to-one work with children or young people to provide bridge support before signposting to other services.
The role includes coordinating the South Children and Young People's Networking Meetings and supporting Youth Voice and Democracy initiatives for the South Youth Forum.
Additionally, working with Families in Focus colleagues to ensure children's and young people's voices are represented in their work.
Applicants must have a Level 4 qualification or higher in Youth and Community Work or a recognized equivalent, with post-qualification experience.
Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
