CAFCASS independently advises the family courts about what is safe for children and within their best interests. Responsibilities:
Play a key role in ensuring Cafcass intervenes in the lives of those children who need a service.
Working from home base but expectation to attend courts within Gwent
To carry out an advanced social work level case analysis of the child's circumstances and to ensure this is updated if circumstances change, and provide advice to local teams based on initial case analysis.
