We are currently seeking a Procurement Buyer to join our client's dynamic Supply Chain Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials that support production requirements. Hours: 8am until 5pm Pay: £17.00 - £21.30 per hour depending on experience Key Responsibilities Respond to MRP messages to procure materials in line with production requirements while minimising surplus and obsolete inventory. Raise, manage, and close Purchase Orders according to operational needs. Provide accurate monthly supplier forecasts and maintain procurement parameters. Resolve issues related to hold racks, invoice discrepancies, and customs. Manage the end-to-end process of part/product procurement, ensuring on-time delivery. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Monitor and review supplier performance, taking proactive steps to improve delivery schedules. Drive supplier relationship development and process improvements. Work cross-functionally to optimise procurement and supply chain processes. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within a production environment. Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP systems).
