Volunteer Social Media Lead | Better Giving Partnership role at Better Giving Partnership. Givto is designed to revolutionise the way people engage with and give to charities. As our Social Media Lead, you’ll be the voice that connects us with supporters and inspires action.
Work remotely with a supportive volunteer team, gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit and tech-for-good space, and help build a national platform that encourages generosity and purpose.
What you will be doing
* Lead and grow Givto’s social presence
* Develop and implement a social media strategy to build awareness, increase engagement, and drive website traffic and donations
* Platform planning and execution across key platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
* Content creation and curation with inspiring posts, graphics, videos, and user stories
* Engage with followers, respond to messages, and foster a supportive online community
* Collaborate with digital marketing leads on paid social campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and supporter acquisition
* Use analytics to evaluate performance, report KPIs, and refine strategies for impact
What we are looking for (Qualifications)
* 5+ years of experience in social media; charity, startup, or socially driven brand experience is a plus
* Demonstrated ability to grow social channels and build engaged communities
* Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other social tools
* Excellent copywriting and storytelling with strong visuals and tone
* Comfort with analytics tools and turning insights into action
* Nice to have: experience creating simple graphics, Reels, or short-form video using Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
* Experience working with influencers and charity sector contacts
* Passion for creative activity on social platforms with limited budget
* Ability to make digital spaces more meaningful
