Overview
A Full-time Teaching Assistant (ALN) is required to join an esteemed educational institution located in Caerphilly. The successful candidate will work alongside a talented team of educators, supporting students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and contributing to their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities
* Providing individualised support to students with ALN, adapting learning materials and activities to meet their specific needs
* Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
* Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records to inform teaching practices and support student achievement
* Facilitating small group and one-on-one learning sessions to reinforce key concepts and skills
* Encouraging student engagement and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6 months experience within a UK ALN Primary/Secondary school or childcare setting. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusive education practices and be well-versed in strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.

* Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or a related field (desirable)
* Knowledge of the UK education system and ALN best practices
* Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to support student learning
