Key Responsibilities
* Deliver compliance monitoring and assurance plans
* Conduct control and thematic reviews across the business
* Provide second-line compliance advice and challenge
* Assess control effectiveness and governance adherence
* Track compliance issues, breaches, and remediation actions
* Support regulatory readiness and evidence gathering
* Maintain compliance registers and obligations tracking
* Produce MI and assurance reporting
* Review business changes for compliance risk impacts
* Support policy lifecycle reviews and updates
Experience & Knowledge
* Strong background in FinTech or Payments within an FCA-regulated environment
* Significant experience (c.10 years) in generalist compliance roles
* Expertise in assurance, regulatory oversight, and policy governance
* Self-starter with strong ownership mindset
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Collaborative with strong cultural awareness
