Lydgate Junior and Infant School is a multi-ethnic school that lies at the heart of a supportive and diverse community in Soothill, Batley.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to be part of our committed and engaging lunchtime team. This is initially a Fixed Term post until 17th July 2026, we are hoping for it to continue after this date.
We are fortunate to have an excellent learning environment in a beautiful setting and we work hard to provide engaging play for our pupils. We value outdoor play and the benefits it brings to the overall development of our children.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
Will be a dynamic and proactive lunchtime supervisor.
Can build positive relationships with children and staff.
Has high expectations of behaviour.
Can motivate, engage and inspire all children.
Is able to work well as part of a team.
The ability to relate to children/young people from diverse backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other staff members.
