Kickstart your creative career working with U-Live. The team behind two of the UK's leading taste making music festivals 'The Long Road' and 'Love Supreme' and a range of small venue shows. The role will include a L3 Content Creator course alongside.
Role Outline
A junior creative art worker with a background in graphic design but also with some basic animation and video editing skills. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn matter just as much as experience. If you've got entry-level skills and have created anything you're proud of — from posters to personal projects or even growing a TikTok audience — we want to hear about it. Skills are transferable, and you don't need to be the finished article to apply.

Responsibilities
· Poster development and resizing
· Social media graphics, some social media management
· Ad Creatives
· Pre-show Video Edits – Making use of archive & found footage alongside brand animation templates.
· On Site Creative Asset Production and Marketing Team Assistance
· Website Maintenance and UX maintenance
· Mailer Creative Builds
· Base Merchandise Asset Designs
· Support Partnerships – deck creation
· Support Operations – Maps, on site signage and other creative
· Maintain Creative archives – file photos, video storage and brand assets library
· General team assistance and advice
· Support the development of all new projects as needed

Skills Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic graphic design skills (posters, resizing, simple ad creatives)
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator essential)
Basic video editing experience (Premiere Pro or similar)
Familiarity with creating assets for social media
Understanding of brand guidelines and visual consistency
Ability to work with existing templates and assets
Basic website content updates (CMS experience a bonus)
Email / mailer design experience (or willingness to learn)
Organised approach to file management and asset storage
Willingness to assist across multiple creative tasks as needed
Qualifications Required
Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Future Prospects
Upon the completion of the apprenticeship we would expect the apprentice to be able to start taking a lead on the holistic creative implementation of our brands and in the long term to be responsible for festival creative teams & freelancers under direction of the head of Marketing.
Things to Consider
You will need to demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the qualification and job role. You will work at U-Live 80% of the time, and study in further education 20% of the time.
Important Other Information
A broad interest in a wide range of music is essential with specific interest and knowledge of R&B, Soul, Jazz and Country music especially helpful.
