My client, a leading Financial Defined Benefit Pensions Company in the Basingstoke Area, is actively looking to recruit a very strong, highly skilled DB & DC PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR - SENIOR TECHNICAL INDIVIDUAL. As a Senior DB Pensions Administrator, you’ll deal with pension scheme members, explain how their pension works, handle complex calculations, and stay up-to-date with changes in the pensions industry. Your work will make a real difference, helping us meet client expectations and communicate effectively with third parties.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Calculate complex retirement quotes and perform checks
* Calculate complex leavers' benefits and perform checks
* Calculate complex death benefits and perform checks
Skills and Experience:
* At least 5 years in a DB pensions administration role
* Progression in a PMI qualification or equivalent, or willingness to study for one
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
* Proven experience dealing with DB and DC occupational schemes, mainly DB
* Good awareness of legislative issues
* Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
* Ability to meet client SLAs, contribute to good practice, and develop junior team members
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including setting up template calculation tools
Responsibilities linked to the DB & DC Pensions Admin role include:
* Contributing to team goals and developing skills
* Delivering pragmatic solutions and applying logical problem-solving
* Supporting and developing team members
* Preparing documentation and communicating with scheme members, clients, and third parties
* Guiding scheme members through their pension journey
* Supporting the Team Leader and deputising when needed
* Checking calculations and assisting with difficult cases and non-standard queries
