A dynamic and fast-growing niche business is urgently seeking a part-time bookkeeper to support their operations on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role
Working with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
 1. Processing all purchase invoices and expense claims accurately and in a timely fashion
 2. Maintain supplier details on the accounting system
 3. Manage cheque and BACS payment
 4. Process all Sales invoices accurately and in a timely fashion
 5. Maintain customer details on the accounting system
 6. Regular credit control through emailmunication and escalate when required
 7. Bank reconciliations
 8. VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
 9. Proven experience in a similar role
 10. Ability to effectivelymunicate with non-financial stakeholders
 11. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
 12. Tenacious in the pursuit of information
 13. Proactive, resourceful and able to multitask
 14. Strong team player
 15. Experience of Xero
 16. Experience with preparation of standard month-end journals prepayments, accruals etc)
