What makes this role exciting We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst with strong data analytics capabilities to join our strategic finance function. This role combines traditional financial planning and analysis with advanced data manipulation and analysis, requiring both financial acumen and technical proficiency. You'll be instrumental in driving data-informed business decisions and building scalable analytical solutions. This position is to be based in the UK, Poland, Spain or Germany on a remote basis Main responsibilities Business Planning & Analysis Prepare board-level reports and presentations, including month-end group financial reporting, translating complex financial data into actionable insights Provide a key role in the annual budgeting process and forecasting cycles, partnering with budget owners and key stakeholders across the organisation Assist in developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making, including scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers impacting financial performance Data Analytics Analyse large and complex datasets using SQL or Python to generate business insights and develop scalable data solutions for financial models Business Partnership Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing financial guidance and analytical support for key initiatives Experience needed for this role Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field Proven senior experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Business / Data Analytics, Consulting or Investment Banking. Advanced SQL skills – ability to write complex queries involving joins and subqueries. Prior experience working with large-scale datasets and a general understanding of database architecture. Python is a plus.
