Job Description:
The Role
As a Multi-Disciplined Service Technician, duties include the assembly, test, operation, service, and maintenance of our and third-party equipment both onshore and offshore.
This role involves duties both in the workshop and offshore.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Report to and take direction from onshore/offshore supervisors when working on company equipment.
* Participate in pre and post job briefings and ensure knowledge transfer.
* Familiarize with company and third-party equipment, following appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing, and maintenance.
* Ensure all work complies with company policies and guidelines.
* Be responsible for personal and workplace safety by working in a safe, tidy, and efficient manner.
* Perform other duties as directed, representing the company professionally.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area.
* Ensure compliance with HSE policies and identify areas for improvement.
* Use appropriate PPE in accordance with health and safety policies.
Perform any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by management within the specified timeframe, safely and efficiently.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you will have experience in a mechanical or hydraulic role with workshop and/or offshore experience, and a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in an offshore environment (essential).
* Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines.
* Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and control components.
* Strong focus on client satisfaction.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel.
Additional experience with diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP water pumping, hydraulic circuits, plant machinery, and subsea services industry equipment is preferred.
