Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Witney, Oxfordshire (brand new 4-bed EBD home)
Salary: £33,600 – £34,800 + £3,250–£6,500 per year for sleep-ins
Hours: 39 hours per week
Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence
A newly opened children’s home in Witney is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to help lead and shape therapeutic care for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). Supporting the Home Manager with day-to-day leadership
Guiding and mentoring the staff team to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care
Managing rotas, budgets, and compliance with Ofsted regulations
Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory standards
Experience managing budgets and rotas
