Job Overview
Exciting opportunity to join our Kensington and Chelsea Talking Therapies Service. This is a full‑time post – 37.5 hours per week for 12 months fixed term – based at St. Charles Hospital in Central London. The role involves providing comprehensive business and operational support to the Talking Therapy team, working closely with the Clinical Lead, Clinical Managers and the Administration Team.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide business support and coordinate service development projects.
* Act as Site Manager and Site Responsible Person for team hubs, including health‑and‑safety reporting, workplace risk assessments and fire‑safety checks.
* Prepare and deliver local‑level reports and data to Service Managers.
* Lead HR responsibilities for Community Living Well, including recruitment, selection and support of administrative staff.
* Coordinate responses to complaints, maintain a log of complaints and feedback.
* Provide communications support for Community Living Well.
* Support budget and finance management for Community Living Well.
* Produce timely reports on service functioning to support day‑to‑day operations.
* Act as active member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to overall management and planning of the service.
* Lead the coordination of site and accommodation requirements for the team in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and serve as Site Responsible Person across team hubs.
Education and Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge of business case procedures.
* Comprehensive experience in project management.
* Experience providing professional guidance on administrative systems and processes.
* Ability to produce reports and statistical data for senior management.
* Understanding of techniques used to manage performance and develop robust management plans.
* Experience delivering objectives within a constantly changing environment.
* Experience dealing with people at all levels, including external agencies.
* Robust decision‑making skills and ability to act independently and with initiative.
* Effective communication with service users with mental health problems and carers.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creative, confident and able to build good working relationships.
Desirable Criteria
* Understanding of the structure of the NHS and current issues facing NHS Trusts.
* Experience of audit and statistical analysis.
* Experience of using clinical systems such as iPAITS and SystemOne.
* Experience working in an IAPT service.
