About Our Client
This opportunity is with a growing international bank based in Central London that supports individuals, businesses and multi-nationals across 5 continents.
Job Description
3. Support the DMLRO by providing financial crime advice and guidance across the business.
4. Investigate and mitigate financial crime risks, including AML, fraud, bribery, corruption, tax evasion, and terrorist financing.
5. Conduct and support investigations, including transaction monitoring reviews, suspicious activity analysis, and SAR drafting.
6. Prepare regulatory and management reporting, including MI packs and data collation for submissions.
7. Assist with systems and controls, including UAT, data analysis, QA reviews, and policy/procedure updates.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
8. Financial Crime Expertise: 2-3 year's experience in a corporate banking environment, with strong understanding of financial crime risks, sanctions, and risk assessments.
9. Product Knowledge: Solid grasp of banking products, especially trade finance, and how they intersect with financial crime controls.
10. Education & Certifications: Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field; industry qualifications are preferred.
11. Research & Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, confident presenter, and skilled in investigative research.
12. Personal Attributes: Motivated, driven, and proactive with a professional approach to compliance and financial crime challenges.
