Overview
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in a brand new learning disabilities care home opening soon in Beccles, Suffolk. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. This service specializes in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors, including those who have been previously detained under the Mental Health Act or discharged from the hospital on a Community Treatment Order.
Responsibilities
* Be an essential part of the team, promoting well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
* Assist with daily tasks, including personal care from supporting with personal hygiene to days out and companionship
* Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
* Ensure accurate record keeping at all times
Qualifications
* NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (to be considered for this position)
* Proven experience of working in a care setting (preferred)
* A good team player (preferred)
* Have a genuine desire to care for others (preferred)
* Good verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
