As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Liquidity and Cash Management Technology team, you will:
* Design and develop technical solutions for a client-facing real-time liquidity dashboard, incorporating security requirements and reviewing code using software engineering best practices.
* Write secure, high-quality, and performant code with automated tests.
* Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
* Identify opportunities to eliminate recurring issues to improve operational stability.
* Participate in communities of practice to promote modern technologies.
* Support a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
* Collaborate effectively as part of a global team.
* Provide technical leadership to small engineering teams, transforming requirements into stories and build plans.
* Mentor junior colleagues in their technical growth.
* Support application operations and coordinate production releases, including out-of-hours support.
Required qualifications include formal training in enterprise software development, proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), OO paradigms, multi-threading, messaging, and networking. Experience in high-performance Java applications, Linux environment troubleshooting, modern testing tools, and Agile methodologies is essential. Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka) is also required.
Preferred skills include front-end development with ReactJs, AWS cloud and Terraform, gRPC, SQL/NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, automated testing, and data platforms like Databricks.
