We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the adults Occupational Therapy team in Middlesbrough Social Care.
We are seeking someone who is highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills to work as part of the Integrated Occupational Therapy Service.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a community setting and of assessment and delivery of equipment and adaptations, including moving and handling. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and on your own, frequently using your own initiative. You will work with a wide multidisciplinary team and be involved with clients with a range of multiple medical, social and emotional problems. Continuing professional development is actively encouraged and regular support and supervision is available within the team. Participation in service developments is also expected, for which there is excellent support available.
The successful candidate must have current HCPC registration.
The role will be community based across Middlesbrough and the post will include carrying out assessments with people in their own homes, therefore having access to transport is essential.
Please note, this is a part time vacancy working 30 hours a week.
