Residential Conveyancer
Witham, Essex
£40, - £60, per annum (dependent on experience)
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Conveyancer (PQE 3+ years) to join my clients' established and well-respected Residential Conveyancing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast paced department that provides real prospects for career advancement and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing a varied and busy residential conveyancing caseload, including:
1. Managing approximately 25-30 new files each month
2. Acting on a full range of residential conveyancing transactions, including:
3. Sales and purchases
4. Freehold and leasehold matters
5. New build property transactions
6. Transfers of equity
7. Delivering clear, practical guidance and ongoing support to clients throughout the conveyancing process
8. Supervising and supporting secretarial and administrative staff
9. Building, maintaining, and developing strong client and professional relationships
10. Ensuring full compliance with billing practices, time recording, and firm-wide procedures
11. Playing an active role in the continued growth of the team and the wider department
The Candidate
To be successful, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
12. Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing
13. Ambition and enthusiasm to contribute to and help drive the department forward
14. A proactive approach and willingness to assist with marketing and promoting the Residential Conveyancing department
15. Strong IT capability and excellent interpersonal skills
16. A positive, professional attitude and team-focused mindset
