An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Therapy Service Team for a Advanced MSK Physiotherapist this role will include assess, diagnose, treat and manage a complex MSK caseload. Patients referred from primary and secondary care.
Main duties of the job
* To work as an autonomous practitioner managing a defined, specialist, clinical caseload, being professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of own work.
* To demonstrate highly specialist knowledge and expertise and advise physiotherapy colleagues and other health professionals on the assessment, diagnosis management of patients with musculoskeletal conditions (with specific expertise in management of spinal conditions).
* To work as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team
* To undertake the comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients, including those with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills including interpretation of medical tests, and to formulate specialised programmes of care tailored to the individual needs of the patient using a wide range of treatment skills and options
* May be required to provide an on-site physiotherapy service to GP surgeries which requires being out in the community.

* Experience in Spinal Physiotherapy service at a Senior level
* Supervisory experience within spinal MSK service

* Masters level study in the relevant area
