Job Introduction
In this role, as a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary team members to provide high-quality care for patients during their visit or stay at our community hospitals. Your responsibilities include implementing treatment and risk management plans and supporting patients through their recovery. Additionally, you will provide support and comfort to patients' family members or carers.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will deliver high standards of care in your ward or clinical area, which may involve moving and handling, cleaning, bathing, feeding patients, and taking patient observations. We support successful candidates to complete the Care Certificate to enhance their practice and ongoing development.
The ward teams include Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Healthcare Assistants, Rehabilitation Support Workers, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and Doctors.

Main Responsibilities
1. Work within a multi-professional team in an inpatient setting, providing support, care, and treatment according to role-specific guidelines and protocols.
2. Provide a high level of essential care, including assisting with personal hygiene, continence, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
3. Support patient recovery and promote rehabilitation, encouraging independence.
