About You To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have... • GCSE Maths & English Grade 4 – 9 (A – C) or equivalent qualification • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically • Experience of working in a customer focussed financial administrative role within Adult Social Care • Experience of accurately maintaining computerised financial systems and payment systems • High level of numeracy skills • Ability to record and present information accurately • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and challenging issues in a confident and professional manner with a variety of audiences • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Outlook & Word • Good organisational skills and ability to work towards multiple deadlines • Ability to work as part of a team but with self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative It is desirable that you have… • Experience of adhering to Financial Regulations & Procedures • Debt recovery experience • Experience of working with state benefit rules • Experience of administering and monitoring Direct Payments. • Experience of working as a Financial Assessment Officer • Knowledge of the Care Act (2014) and the Care and Support (Charging & Assessment of Resources) Regulations (2014) Next Steps If you would like to apply for this vacancy via an
