Material Planner – Join a Global Manufacturing Leader!
Location: Stafford (On-site, 5 days per week)
Contract: 12 months (Mat Cover)
Travel: Up to 5%

What You’ll Be Doing
Material Planning & Scheduling
Ensure parts are delivered on time across multiple facilities, keeping production running without interruption.
Shortage Management
Stay one step ahead by identifying, managing, and resolving any supply issues before they affect operations.
Communication & Escalation
Work closely with internal teams and suppliers via phone, email, and TEAMS — escalating quickly when needed to keep everything moving.
System Operations
Use tools such as MFGPRO, EE and MRC to manage inventory, track orders, and support planning activities.
Forecasting & Replenishment
Generate accurate forecasts and manage replenishment plans to optimise stock levels and meet service targets.
Administrative Support
Assist the function by cross-checking freight invoice values and ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
What You Bring
1. Experience in materials handling, logistics, or supply chain operations
2. Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
3. Confident decision-making and critical thinking
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities across varied operational scenarios
5. Proven relationship-building skills with suppliers, clients, and internal teams
6. Ability to coordinate internal resources efficiently
7. Knowledge of MRP systems and manufacturing requirements
8. Understanding of transportation and freight processes
9. Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
10. High attention to detail and strong administrative capability
