As Chef de Partie you play a leading role in the kitchen working closely alongside the Chef Manager to ensure it's smooth operation. You will play a leading role in the preparation of core dishes and dietary alternatives. You will also support the chef manager in stock management and kitchen administration as well as ensuring all junior chefs are performing at a professional level and that the kitchen is productive, cost effective and producing the highest quality of food. You will contribute towards a positive culture across the kitchen team and the business as a whole.
As industry best practice, cleanliness and EHO compliance is absolutely paramount. Applicants must have a good understanding of the measures which need to be upheld to maintain a safe environment for both our staff and customers.

An understanding of nutrition as well as young children's eating habits would highly benefit applicants as they will contribute to menu development across existing and 'new to launch' menu offerings. A passion for improving outcomes in health and wellbeing on a macro scale as well as a bigger picture understanding of the customer needs and perspective, will serve the successful candidate well.
The successful applicant will be / have:
· A creative chef who excels in menu and recipe development to be aligned to company ethos of providing healthy, delicious, easy to serve children's meals
· A calm and organised manner
· Reliable with a strong attention to detail
· A driving force for continuous improvement
· Passionate about quality control
· Hygiene Level 3 required as minimum (Level 4 beneficial)
· Allergen certificate
· Catering Experience
· Driving licence
