Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role is essential in supporting daily administrative tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties
* Dealing with customer leads/enquiries and generating invoices
* Provide general administrative support, including data entry and clerical tasks
* Manage phone communications with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
* Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, ensuring accurate financial records
* Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations
* Perform typing duties with a high degree of accuracy and speed
* Support team members with various office tasks as required, fostering a collaborative work environment
Requirements
* Previous office experience is highly desirable
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Experience in administrative roles or clerical positions is an advantage
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is beneficial but not mandatory
* Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail
