Our Irvine based site is looking for a Product Testing and eCommerce Operative
This is a challenging and varied role involving product testing, preparing parcels and administration.
The role is full time hours per week
Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00
Friday 08:30-15:30
Key Responsibilities
* Inspection and basic testing, cleaning, and refurbishing of consumer electronics and IT products.
* Create accurate and effective product listings on various web platforms (eBay, Amazon)
* Processing of orders – picking, packing and shipping.
* Growing the number of products that we have on sales platforms for sale. Increasing sales revenue.
Requirements
Essential
* Must have excellent attention to detail and ensure accurate listings
* Adaptable and flexible to the needs of the business and reacts positively to change.
* Technically minded with ability to troubleshoot consumer electronics and understand product specifications.
* Able to use your initiative and work independently with little supervision.
* Organised and systematic. Able to set up and maintain processes.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent time management and able to prioritise your work effectively.
* Enthusiastic about repairing, refurbishing and re-using.
* Enjoys working to targets.
Desirable
* Knowledge in identifying DELL, HP, IBM, APPLE part numbers is desirable.
* Previous experience in product advertising is preferable but full training will be given.
* Online private selling experience.
* Warehouse operations/supply chain/logistics experience.
The successful candidate will be based at our Irvine site and live within a good commuting distance from that.
