We're looking for a Finance Manager to join our Building Solutions North team based in Sheffield (or Salford). Location: Sheffield (or Salford) Hours: 40 hours per week We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Finance Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions North team, supporting them in delivering accurate financial reporting and strategic planning across a portfolio of contracts. Your day to day will include: Preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts in collaboration with regional SLT and contract leads Producing monthly accounts with detailed analysis and reporting against budgets and forecasts Attending contract review meetings to provide financial support, guidance, and challenge Managing cash flow and WIP across contracts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing Leading scenario modelling and risk/opportunity management for the North contracts What are we looking for? This role of Finance Manager is great for you if: You are a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with 5 years post-qualification experience You have experience in long-term contract accounting, ideally within the construction industry You are able to travel regularly to other Places offices and operational sites across the UK You are collaborative, trusted, and focused – values that are essential to building strong relationships and delivering results We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
