To provide a welcoming, efficient one-stop service for patient and service user enquiries, via telephone and face-to-face contact, ensuring full compliance with operational and customer care standards.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure that all relevant and accurate documentation is issued, received, and processed within required timescales. A strong emphasis will be placed on supporting patients by providing clear, accessible information and promoting informed choice. Close and effective liaison with the wider Endoscopy team and the Endoscopy Lead Consultant will be essential to support clinical decision-making and to resolve any queries relating to surveillance pathways, patient eligibility, or booking decisions.
The role includes responsibility for creating and amending clinic templates in line with service needs and Trust procedures. The post holder will adhere strictly to agreed booking rules and will undertake daily reviews of clinic schedules to ensure that appointment capacity is used efficiently and effectively. Regular monitoring and proactive management of PTL and waiting list reports will be required, with weekly updates provided to the Line Manager and Lead Consultant. The post holder will also identify and elevate any potential capacity or waiting list pressures at an early stage and support actions to mitigate these where appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience
* Achieved Grades
* 4 GCSEs
* NHS Experience
* Minimum of 1 year NHS experience
Knowledge
* Broad range of administrative processes
* Competent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
Experience
* 12 months of NHS experience
