We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ipswich, starting as soon as possible. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs. You will help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), provide targeted interventions, and assist with classroom management to maintain a positive learning environment. You will also monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform planning and next steps. You will play a key role in promoting pupils’ independence, resilience, and social skills, helping them to develop confidence and a positive attitude to learning. Effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals will be essential to ensure coordinated and consistent support.
