Role Overview: As an Area Sales Engineer, you will drive success in the Central Belt of Scotland by developing client relationships, supporting solutions, and promoting growth through face-to-face interactions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their challenges to create tailored solutions.
* Research regional market to identify new sales leads, especially for electric rotating machinery maintenance.
* Support customers by showcasing Sulzer's products and addressing engineering challenges.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in technical sales with a solid understanding of the sales process.
* Extensive knowledge of electric rotating machinery, including motors, generators, and transformers.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, with proactive problem-solving abilities.
* Resident within the Central Belt of Scotland preferred; locations include Falkirk, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling.
* Full UK Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel within the area.
