Senior Project Manager – IT
c£70,000 + Car
Birmingham / hybrid (3 days a week working onsite in office in Birmingham)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join a respected plc in Birmingham, delivering medium to large, complex technology projects from end to end.
What you’ll do
* Lead the planning, delivery, and governance of IT projects
* Manage scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies
* Act as the key link between technology teams and the business
* Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
* Drive strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and post-implementation reviews
What we’re looking for
* 5 years+ experience in project management and technology delivery
* Strong knowledge of software development and system integration
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
* Knowledge of middleware technologies (APIs, message brokers, SOA)
* Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* Project Management certification (PMP/CPM) desirable
