This opportunity is with a fantastic business looking for a well established HR individual to join their busy team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
* Lead, coach and develop the HR team to deliver responsive and effective HR support.
* Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across all areas.
* Monitor workload distribution and team performance, identifying opportunities for development and process improvement.
* Provide expert advice and support on complex employee relations matters including absence, conduct, performance, and grievance issues.
* Ensure fair and legally compliant outcomes, balancing policy with individual circumstances.
* Support and coach managers in preparing for and conducting formal meetings, including investigations and hearings.
* Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
* Support the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth experience for employees and managers.
* Assist with policy interpretation and application, ensuring clarity and consistency across departments
* Ensure all HR activity is aligned with current employment legislation and company values.
* Contribute to the development of HR practices that reflect fairness, flexibility and operational needs
* Build strong working relationships with managers and employees across the business.
* Act as a trusted advisor, offering practical and tailored HR guidance.
* Collaborate with the wider HR team to support projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Design and deliver engaging essential manager skills training to support leadership capability and confidence.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidates:
* Proven HR Advisory experience within a fast-paced enviornment.
* CIPD level 5 qualified
* Strong experiencer managing complex ER Cases
* Experience managing a team is desierable
* Excellent communication skills.
