Summary
Overview
We are a B2B vertical SaaS platform in the waste management and hauling industry preparing for launch. We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Content Planner to build and manage our content engine for the next two quarters.
This is not a basic content writing role.
We need someone who can architect a comprehensive content calendar across channels, work directly with the founders, and drive planning through execution and performance tracking.
We are onboarding soon.
About Us
We are building a modern SaaS platform for residential and commercial haulers. Our product touches fleet operations, workflow optimization, and customer experience within waste management.
We are currently in pre-launch mode and want to build structured, strategic visibility ahead of product release.
Scope of Work (Next Two Quarters)
You will:
Develop a 6-month cross-channel content strategy aligned with product launch milestones
Build and manage a detailed, executable content calendar
Coordinate and oversee execution across multiple content types
Help source and hire freelance writers, designers, and editors if needed
Monitor performance and iterate based on data
Channels & Content Types
You will plan and help execute across:
Website content (core pages + landing pages)
SEO-driven blog strategy
LinkedIn (founder-led and brand-led)
Email newsletters
Sales enablement materials
Display advertising concepts
Print collateral (industry-specific)
Industry trade publications
Video and/or audio content (podcast clips, product explainers, short-form)
Launch campaign assets
We want a unified narrative across all touchpoints.
What We're Looking For
You are:
Experienced in B2B SaaS content marketing (required)
Strong in building structured content calendars tied to GTM milestones
Comfortable working directly with founders
Able to translate complex operational software into clear positioning
Experienced in multi-channel planning (not just social or blogs)
Data-driven and able to track leading indicators
Comfortable hiring and managing freelancers
Organized and operationally disciplined
Bonus if you have:
Experience in vertical SaaS
Experience in industrial, logistics, fleet, or operational software
Launch campaign experience
Deliverables
Within the first 30–45 days:
2-quarter master content strategy
Fully mapped content calendar
Channel-by-channel plan with KPIs
Execution roadmap with ownership defined
Ongoing:
Weekly progress updates
Monthly performance review
Iteration and optimization plan
Engagement Structure
Part-time (initially), potential to expand
3–6 month engagement
Immediate start preferred
Budget open based on experience and scope

Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
