Product Designer – Funnel Teams

Responsibilities
* Work with the Principal Product Designer to develop and champion the strategic vision for the UK customer experience.
* Shape a new credit product from the ground up, offering greater flexibility to support small businesses.
* Help maintain and evolve our reusable Design System to ensure coherence and quality.
* Build user‑centred solutions with product managers and engineers that solve real‑world pain points and meet business goals.
* Design interactive tools, such as a loan calculator, to guide customers to the right product.
* Use data from web analytics, A/B testing and conversion metrics to iterate designs that directly improve conversion and user satisfaction.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to uncover pain points and validate design solutions.
* Establish and monitor user‑feedback loops to foster continuous improvement.
* Identify and act on opportunities for improvement based on qualitative and quantitative data.
* Example projects include: i) Developing a new iwoca Home portal for multi‑product management and cross‑selling opportunities; ii) Creating a more engaging experience for existing customers that recognises their growth; iii) Shaping a new credit product with greater flexibility.
Requirements
* Experience working in a product design setting focused on conversion and commercial goals.
* Customer‑first, data‑driven approach to design, balancing business needs with user empathy.
* Experience planning and conducting moderated and unmoderated user research studies with customers.
* Experience working in a cross‑functional team that includes product managers and engineers.
* Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) with strong prototyping and interaction design skills.
* Experience using analytics data/tools to drive design decisions.
* Understanding of A/B testing, conversion metrics and user behaviour.
* Ability to work autonomously and complete projects.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt style to the audience.
Bonus
* Front‑end development concepts and familiarity with front‑end frameworks.
* Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
* Experience in the B2B space.
Salary
£55,000 – £70,000. Applicants should include salary expectations with their application.
