Who You Are An experienced Housing Advice/Prevention/Homelessness Assessment Officer with the ability to hit the ground running. You should have practical experience in delivering a pressurised Housing Options Service, managing multiple demands and pressures effectively. You should possess in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation such as Part VII Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Reduction Act. What the job involves You will be an integral part of the Housing Options duty Service, responsible for completing assessments, carrying out prevention and relief work, and managing a varied caseload. The role involves conducting homelessness enquiries, casework, and drafting s184 decision letters. Flexible working arrangements are offered, with an expectation of being office-based 50% of the time post-induction. Office hours are from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
